Birds

You may look past the chickadees and sparrows and point to the hummingbirds and swans. However, all birds are beautiful in their own way, and they all serve a purpose. Hummingbirds pollinate flowers and sparrows spread plant seeds and serve as food for larger birds. All of the bird species are important.

How to Help

You can help in many ways, big or small. You can donate (see Who to Support) or plant bird-friendly plants such as holly, dogwood, bee balm, sunflowers, and black-eyed Susan. The best way you can help is by spreading the word. Let everyone know that birds need our help.
